Tim Roth and Samantha Morton star in this gripping thriller about notorious serial killer John Reginald Christie and the miscarriage of justice that saw a man hanged for a crime he didn't commit. This terrifying insight into this notorious case reveals how Christie betrayed and manipulated those around him - his wife, his neighbors and ultimately the British justice system - with deadly consequences.
Rillington Place Ep. 1
Ethel and Reginald Christie set up home in 10 Rillington Place after a long separation.
Rillington Place Ep. 2
Newly-weds Tim and Beryl Evans move into 10 Rillington Place with tragic consequences.
Good sets, actors and direction. But not everyone understands mumbling limey speech.
Is anybody else mad at the wife for helping him to cover up his murders? Just me...?
Superb! Tim Roth is amazing as Christie: ingenious interpretation of his character, right down to the little smirks and measured pauses in his speech.... and the dreary, bleak, threadbare look of the London of the 40s definitely came across. Absolutely loved it.
I had to watch every episode twice as I kept falling asleep. Unfortunately, the scenery was so extremely dark throughout that I had a difficult time following and often not understanding what the actors were saying, too much mumbling. This is only my third film and except for Rillington Place, I have enjoyed the previous ones very much. So happy to have joined this channel.
