Eco Trip: The Real Cost of Living
Renowned eco-adventurer and activist David de Rothschild’s groundbreaking Sundance series takes an informative look at the environmental impact of some of our most cherished luxuries, from bottled water to cell phones to chocolate bars. David also shines a spotlight on the often devastating things that result from our purchase and use of items we take for granted, including paper napkins, light bulbs, cotton t-shirts and gold rings. You’ll travel around the world with David to an organic cocoa farm in the Dominican Republic, a devastated town on the edge of a Nevada gold mine, a zoo in the Bronx, and Appalachian coal country. Along the way you’ll learn the true environmental cost of the way we live, but also gain an understanding of the things that can be done to cut back on impact and change things for the better. Bold, unfiltered and compulsively watchable, ECO TRIP is like nothing else out there.
Interesting but the main character is very goofy. It could have more depth and insight.
