Frackman

Frackman

Directed by Richard Todd

Frackman tells the story of Dayne ‘Frackman’ Pratzky’s struggle against international gas companies. Australia will soon become the world’s biggest gas exporter, as more than 30,000 wells are sunk in Dayne’s home of Queensland, with many requiring controversial ‘fracking’. He and his neighbours have unwittingly become the centre of a massive industrial landscape and they have little power to fight the wishes of the $200 billion industry.

Interesting story about an older man with undiagnosed autism. His creations are amazing and his adventures are even better. It also reminds me the sad state of affairs that our country is in that there is no place for a guy like him. I hope he gets to stay put.

This really truly saddens me. They made a toxic waste land of an important Australian biome. Who is looking out for the wildlife? Who is looking out for the frogs, the kangaroos and birds we saw in this film? We’re they relocated? I’m so upset by this!!!
