Sundance's description gives absolutely no indication as to what this film is. The lead actor appears to have studied under Jerry Lewis. The 'expert' referred to in the description is a bumbling loser who hasn't the vaguest idea what he's doing and we're supposed to find the whole situation funny. The people who gave this film a favorable rating are clearly involved in its promotion.
I really enjoyed the ride. Excellent use of few locations (hotel, motel, diner). Beautiful progression and quirkily constructed. This is pretty much the content I'm looking for, compare to what populates other streaming services.
Fantastic! Ignore the other ratings which are from small minds. This is extremely thought-provoking, beautifully acted, the cinematography wonderful, and the casting superlative. Great twist in the narrative.
Complete waste of time!!! Would give it zero stars!
