When her father is struck with illness and a hundred-year storm raises the waters around her town, six-year-old Hushpuppy sees the natural order of everything she holds dear collapsing around her. This tiny hero must learn to survive an unstoppable catastrophe of epic proportions, as fierce prehistoric creatures awaken from their frozen graves to come charging across the planet.
Following her father's illness and the flooding of her home, Hushpuppy, a six-year-old girl, must brave prehistoric creatures to seek out her lost mother.
