As an addict and having lived through multiple relationships with my addiction . I can attach myself to either character. As a matter of fact every character portrayed in this film I personally have found myself. They have done an excellent job of showing the reality of addiction and what it would look like in reality if you were allowed to observe . This is life so how you walk away from this film will depend on your own ability to identify yourself with one or more of the characters. If you watch this dim leaving yourself open you will capture what the writer had in mind when creating this film. If you can do that you'll give it a 10 . However if you are a person incapable of empathy then you won't even finish watching. Because to you it will just be a painful 90 minutes. So I guess you need to ask yourself, who are you?
