i sort of had an idea about all of this_like John Wayne being a right wing idiot_and the government getting involved in film_blocking communists and communist sympathizers_but i had no idea how much control the government & corporations had on what and how movies told stories & portrayed so call fact

Beautifully done! Stunning footage from some brave films . . . my favorite quote is when Abraham Polonsky states "All crime films are about capitalism, because capitalism is about crime." I don't think anyone could have said it better.

Really informative. :D I love history and history of film so this is a must. Now I will watch some of the old movie's they mention.
