Spectacular cinematography and acting! As well as great choice of music through the film. However more negatives than positives, the story severely lacked... well just that... a story. It could have been a great introduction to a much more sophisticated movie but definitely not stand on its own. The storyline was so cringeworthy especially when writers forgot the need for a plot to have a decent film. The characters were also quite toxic that showed rather of growing through life successfully through the triumphs, the group somehow survives life in all unhappy, depressing ways and never seem to have grown up from middle school. Only if there was a word people could put in to use that would take it all away... oh wait it’s called maturity. One character however caught my attention and I partially felt his emotion, Alex. Due to the failure of the story, it was impossible to fully connect with the themes and emotions; however, it is clearly seen Alex is hurting the most and his “friends” are making things much worse, especially in a selfish, disgusting way. Easily, Alex can become a great guy, but he has just been in the wrong crowd. People need to get a grip on life and start helping people like Alex on a personal level. A hotline can only do so much for a person. It all boils down to how can you be the prevention. If you are hurting I’d be glad to talk with you - 865-684-6754 If you call, please feel free to leave a detailed voicemail and I will return your call at the next available moment.
