| Paul is brokenhearted after his breakup with Mariana until he meets Sofi, a Canadian visiting Los Angeles to get away from her own troubled relationship. Paul immediately sees in her the hope of a new love.
Against all odds they become a couple and experience their first kiss, their first night together, their first fight, their first betrayals. What was once endearing and intimate quickly becomes a suffocating nuisance, and Paul and Sofi begin to realize just how different they are. Sofi won’t move to L.A, Paul can’t move to Vancouver, they have differing values, differing thoughts about the future.
The long distance relationship tainted by Paul’s numerous insecurities, Sofi's unyielding frustration and the constant struggle to keep it all together takes the couple on an amusing yet painful ride that will test their love for each other and their strength as individuals. |
